Posted on September 24, 2015

A fall getaway doesn't have to be expensive! There are plenty of ways to make memories in Santa Claus, Indiana, and sites throughout Lincoln's Indiana Boyhood Home without busting your budget.

Check out these fall activities for $5 (or less!):

As you venture outdoors, walk through cabins that represent the time our nation’s 16th president spent in Spencer County. ($5 Adults/$3 Kids 12 and under) $5 fall fun Hooves trotting, colorful leaves falling, and big smiles that never disappear are definitely expected as your child rides with Foxy the pony at Santa’s Stables. ($5 per ride) Admire falling leaves from high above trees as you take a leisurely walk through Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial’s serene trails. (Free) Indulge in at least one of Santa’s Candy Castle’s gourmet popcorn flavors such as kettle corn or caramel apple.
